Why do it yourself?
No expert needed.
Most people pay retail prices because designing a kitchen feels like a job for an expert. It isn’t, once someone shows you the rules. Our Kitchen Classroom walks you through them in plain English. You stay in charge, and you don’t have to rely on one company to tell you what your kitchen should cost.
Independent
We help you buy your kitchen.
Free planners are usually sales funnels, built to sell you that company’s kitchen. We’re not. Your design isn’t built around one company’s range or prices. Take the same plan to as many showrooms and fitters as you like. Getting more than one quote is the simplest way to know you’re paying a fair price, so we encourage you to get as many as you can. Because your design goes anywhere, £48 could save you thousands.

The Kitchen Classroom
Learn the rules.
Learn it before you build it. 17 short lessons, a few screens each, with a “try it in your design” step at the end of every one. Use them before you start or dip in while you design.
- Where to start, and the order that makes it easy
- Measuring your room properly
- End panels, plinths and fillers
- Sinks and how they sit in the worktop
- Worktop materials, joints, overhangs and cut-out rules
- Space around hobs, fridges and islands
- Corners that actually work
- The things people always miss
Every maker has its own rules, so always check the final figures with your chosen supplier and fitter.
Your toolkit
Your toolkit.
Everything you need to plan it yourself.
- Confirm your room: check the shape and measurements before you place a single unit.
- Design in 3D: place units along your walls and choose doors, colours, worktops and handles.
- Walk round it: step inside your kitchen in 3D and see how it feels.
- Renders: photo-style images from the views you save.
- Materials calculator: flooring, tiles, paint, skirting and worktop lengths, worked out for you.
- Supplier quote pack: everything a supplier needs to price your units, worktops and appliances.
- Fitter quote pack: clear drawings and notes so fitters can quote for the job.

Questions
Good to know.
Is Kitchens Connected a kitchen retailer?
We do supply kitchens, and we’re happy to quote. But your design isn’t tied to us or any retailer’s range, so you can take it to any showroom, supplier or fitter you like.
How is this different from a free online kitchen planner?
Free planners from retailers are usually sales funnels, designed to price their own units so the only quote you get is theirs. Your Kitchens Connected design is independent and comes with quote packs, so you can get prices from as many companies as you want. That’s why £48 could save you thousands.
I’ve never designed anything. Can I really do this?
Yes. The Kitchen Classroom explains each part in plain English, one short screen at a time, and every lesson ends with a step to try in your own design.
What does it cost?
£48 per room for 1 month. £48 launch price, ends 31 Jan 2027. Goes up to £96 from 1 Feb 2027. 10 renders are included and extra renders are £2 each. Need longer? Renew for another month at £48.
What’s in the quote packs?
The supplier quote pack lists what’s needed to price your kitchen. The fitter quote pack gives fitters clear drawings and notes for the job. Send them to whoever you like.
Are the measurements and clearances guaranteed?
The Kitchen Classroom explains common guidance, but every maker and every home is different. Always have your supplier and fitter confirm the final measurements and figures before you order.
How many quotes should I get?
As many as you can. Comparing quotes for exactly the same design is the easiest way to know you’re paying a fair price.
Will you check my design?
No. We don’t check or design kitchens; your design is yours. For account, payment or technical problems, request help and a real person will reply, usually within 24 hours: email hello@kitchensconnected.com.
How long do I have?
1 month from the day you pay. After that your design stays saved as view only for up to 12 months, and you can renew for another month at £48 per room whenever you need more time.
What happens after my 10 renders?
You can buy more at £2 each, whenever you need them.
What should I measure?
Each wall, the ceiling height, windows, doors, radiators and anything fixed. Measure carefully: once you press Confirm room, only changes of up to 500 mm can be made yourself.
Can I buy my kitchen through you?
Yes, if you would like us to quote too. If you buy your kitchen through us, everything you have paid us, the £48 plus any extra renders, comes off your kitchen bill.
