Who controls your information
Kitchens Connected, a trading name of Wentways Ltd, is the controller of personal data supplied through the Home Designer. Contact: hello@kitchensconnected.com.
What we collect and why
We collect your name, email, property address and postcode, securely stored password credentials, room measurements, designs, renders, support messages and payment records. Stripe processes card payments; we do not receive your full card number. We use this information to provide your purchased service (contract), support you (legitimate interests) and maintain required accounting records (legal obligation). Our team may be notified of sign-ups and payments to provide support. We do not sell your data or send optional marketing without an appropriate lawful basis.
Who processes it
We use the following service providers to run the Home Designer for us: Cloudflare (website hosting, database and file storage), Stripe (card payments), Resend (account and service emails) and Modal (cloud computing used to produce your renders from your design). They process your information only on our instructions. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum. Retention
After your paid access ends (including any renewals), saved designs and renders remain viewable for up to 12 further months, after which they are scheduled for deletion unless you renew access or another lawful reason requires retention. We intend to send reminders around 30 days and seven days before deletion. You may request deletion earlier, subject to legal obligations. Payment and accounting records may be retained for six years or longer where legally required. Backups may take additional time to expire.
Your rights
You can request access, correction or erasure of your personal data, subject to applicable law, and may have rights to object, restrict processing or receive portable data. Contact us at hello@kitchensconnected.com. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
