Home Designer Terms

1. Who we are

The Kitchens Connected Home Designer is provided by Kitchens Connected, a trading name of Wentways Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17014646. Contact: hello@kitchensconnected.com. “We” and “us” mean Kitchens Connected; “you” means the consumer purchasing access for their own home.

2. What you get

A one-off payment of £48 per room including VAT (£40 plus VAT) gives you one month of access for one room at one home, at the address supplied when you sign up. Access starts immediately after payment. It includes 10 renders. Additional renders cost £2 including VAT each, purchased in advance as credits. Credits are valid only during your active access period, subject to your statutory rights.

This is not a subscription and does not renew automatically. You can renew for another month at the same price of £48 per room. Your access end date is displayed in your account. At expiry, your account becomes view-only: you can view saved designs and renders but cannot edit, create renders or purchase additional render credits. Contact us if you want to resume editing. The Home Designer is for planning your own kitchen and does not include trade prices, order lists or fitting drawings.

3. Check and confirm your room

You may enter and adjust your room dimensions, ceiling height, windows, doors and fixed features as often as needed before you press Confirm room. You must review your room measurements and press Confirm room before the first cabinet can be added. Please measure twice and check carefully.

Once you press Confirm room, your room is locked. You can continue changing your kitchen design and cabinetry, and you can still adjust each room dimension (width, length and ceiling height) by up to 500 mm from the value you confirmed. Bigger room changes require a request to our team at hello@kitchensconnected.com or through your account. We may correct measurements or reset the room as appropriate; resetting may affect an existing design.

Your £48 purchase is for one room at one home and does not allow you to create designs for other rooms or properties.

4. Renders

Each render uses one credit. Renders may carry a discreet Kitchens Connected brand mark, but will not display your property address. They are for your personal use, including sharing with family and taking to any kitchen supplier or fitter you choose. Renders are visual impressions; actual colours, finishes, proportions and lighting can differ from installed products.

5. Buy from anyone, with a credit if you buy from us

You are free to buy your kitchen from any supplier. If you buy your kitchen through Kitchens Connected, we will deduct the amount you have paid for Home Designer access and additional render credits from the price of that kitchen. This credit does not expire, is linked to your account, can be applied once to a kitchen purchase, and is not exchangeable for cash. Prices displayed in the Home Designer are indicative, include VAT and cover units and finishing pieces only; worktops, appliances, delivery and fitting are excluded unless expressly stated. All prices are confirmed in writing before an order.

6. Your measurements and design

The design is based on information you provide. You are responsible for checking measurements, cabinetry positions, appliance spaces, access and clearances, and whether your proposed design is appropriate for your property. Before ordering products or starting installation, have the dimensions, design and installation requirements checked by a suitably competent supplier or fitter. The Home Designer is not a site survey, structural assessment or installation approval. Keep your account login private. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Cancellation and refunds

The Refunds and Cancellations policy forms part of these terms. We ask at checkout for express consent to immediate supply and acknowledgement of the consequences for cancellation rights where the statutory digital-content exception applies. We do not offer a discretionary change-of-mind refund after use has begun, but this does not restrict any cancellation or other rights you retain by law.

8. Our responsibility

If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach, subject to applicable law. We do not guarantee that a design will be suitable for ordering or installation without independent checking. Nothing excludes or limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory consumer rights.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You may bring proceedings in England and Wales or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts where you live.
